I have been so busy crawling around I haven't gotten around to blogging. You read it right: I've been crawling and loving every minute of it. A couple of weeks ago (I can't remember the exact date, but I'm sure mama wrote it on my special calendar ) mama sat me down in the living room to play with my toys and then went into the kitchen. I just decided right then I didn't want to stay in there so I headed to the kitchen. You should have seen the look on mama's face when I peeked around the corner. I wish I would have had a camera. So I've been crawling around for a while now. I notice mama and daddy tell me no a lot more. I just find such neat little things I can't help but put them in my mouth. I almost got a marble in today but mama snatched it away. I've only had one mishap so far on my new adventures. I decided to follow my sissys down the steps. Mama caught me by my foot after I had started going down after them. That was a close call so now the gate is always closed. I have also discovered how cool the bathroom is. I have to be quick, but if the door is left open I am on my way. One time I made it to the potty before I got caught!
My long car days are over. Thank goodness! I didn't mind it so much but there is only so much a baby can do strapped into a car seat all day. Now my Claire and Emma stay home with me everyday. I've heard lots of talk about summer fun. I hope it involves my swing in the back yard because I can' get enough of it!
Well, they tell me my big day is just around the corner and that I will be one soon! My silly mama has been singing happy birthday to Amelia and pretending she is blowing out a candle. I just laugh when she does that. I sure hope that all this means I will get to eat some of that yummy stuff the candle is in. I also hope I get my own scoop of ice cream. I have had little tastes and I know I am going to love it! Well got to go to sleepytown. These summer days are wearing me out. I have some great pics I'll try to include next time. |
