Back in February, Kelly and I took a trip to Chicago to celebrate our 10th anniversary, which was actually in November 2007. We rode the train all the way from Ann Arbor to Union Station, which was a first for both of us. We stayed in a nice hotel, ate expensive food, saw a cool dolphin show at Shedd Aquarium, and spent too much money in general — but it was absolutely great!

One of the best parts – no offense kids – is that we were able to leave our three children at home with my mother-in-law. We did, of course, take our unborn fourth child along. My great dislike for the cold along with Kelly's baby-growing belly really made for some fun walks around town in the bitter cold. We learned to take the bus for the longer trips.

Here's a few photos we took while we were there.
