Circus TicketsYesterday I took the day off work, and took my family to the circus.

The "Greatest Show on Earth."

It was fantastic.  Of course, we didn't make it there an hour before showtime, when we could have walked out on the main floor, met with clowns, and watched an elephant paint a picture, but we still had a great time.

Spending Time with My Baby

Last night when I got home from work, my big three girls were up and bouncing around, going on little or no rest at naptime.  However, my 4 month old baby A was sleeping soundly in her crib.  It wasn't until after we had eaten dinner, and dragged the big three through clean-up, brush-your-teeth, get-yer-jammies-on bedtime that she finally woke up.

This past Sunday we went to my EQ company picnic out at Paradise Park in Novi.  We ate good food (at least Kelly and I did; the girls ate just about nothing, mostly because they were stunned by the loud music blaring from the DJ), and the girls jumped in bounce houses and on trampolines.  My two biggest girls also rode go-karts around.

Then came the arcade games.

It Was the First Day of First Grade

My oldest daughter went off to first grade today. Once again I had the privilege of taking her for the first day. I asked her if I could take a picture of her outside the school, and she said no. She was very excited to get in the door and back to school.

She walked in, and was all business. She unpacked her backpack as fast as she could, put all her supplies inside the desk, and sat down. The girl was ready for school to start. We're excited for her, too.
