This baby is big. No one knows that better than me, its mother, but apparently it is not big enough to warrant a forced early entrance into the world. We are just going to have to wait to meet this little/big person until it is ready to come or until its due date. The dr. said he knows that I can handle a big baby but won't let me go past my due date. Thanks doc! |

Much to everyone's dismay my actual due date is June 23rd. After hearing that most people respond with "Are you having twins?" or "Could they have gotten the date wrong?", "Wow, that's a big baby" or my personal favorite, "You look so miserable." The truth is life isn't that easy right now but it could be a lot worse. I think I may even be feeling a little better than I was. Having said that, I'm still really hoping I don't have to wait until June 23rd! We have a big ultrasound on Monday, June 2nd to check the size of the baby. I then meet with my dr. Wednesday to discuss the results and see if he plans to induce me. He doesn't want to let this baby get as big as M. I couldn't agree more! I'm hoping perhaps two weeks from now to be in labor or holding my new baby! |
