Now that spring is here, we've been seeing more and more motorcycles on the roads. A few days ago my oldest daughter C reminded me of the long ride we had last summer, where I took her all over the south part of our town following a motorized hang glider contraption in the sky. We rode for over an hour, chasing it east and west until it finally landed in a little field and then took off again. A wonderful summer night spent with my little girl.

Well, spring is finally here! It has been a long, cold winter, and I'm excited about spring this year especially. My oldest daughter somehow learned that spring started at 7:00 last night. When I told her it was 8:05, and that she'd be going to bed soon, she didn't really care about bedtime, she just shouted, "It's SPRING!!!"

This year my girls are excited to get outside and ride bikes, swing on the swing set, and run down to the fire hydrant and back. We have a baby that we'll take for walks around our neighborhood in the stroller.

I am looking forward to finishing my downstairs entirely (with a much needed bathroom), fencing my back yard so I can get my tan on, and getting my web site rocking - OK that has nothing to do with spring.

Life is good.

My wife's GrandDad passed away on Sunday afternoon, February 11. I spoke with my mother-in-law on the phone that day, and she said Grandma needed to pass along a message to me: she wanted me to know that GrandDad liked me.
